Description Provision of a Space Planner/Project Manager to Deliver the Councils Office Accommodation Rationalisation and Modernisation Programme.

The Council seeks expressions of interest from an appropriate Space Planner/ Project Management Consultant to plan, design and project manage the Councils flexible working and modernisation programme incorporating the rationalisation of office utilisation which will include alterations and refurbishment to office accommodation.
The consultant will be expected to deliver RIBA plan of work stages A to L and manage associated staff relocations over the next 3 years. Work will be instructed on a call off basis and no levels of work can be guaranteed under this agreement.

The Council seeks expressions of interest from appropriate consultants to be engaged for a period of three years on a call off basis as and when required, to assist in the delivery the Councils flexible working and modernisation agenda with regard to the utilisation of office accommodation. The consultants will specifically be expected to provide space planning advice, design and project management services for the rationalisation of the Councils office accommodation, including staff moves and, dependant upon whether any physical works are required to premises, may also be requested to provide building surveying, structural engineering, building services, quantity surveying and health and safety / CDM-C services.
The appointed consultant will be expected to have a proven track record of space planning and project management.
The appointed consultant will deliver all aspects of the Specification for all the sites; this is to include the provision of all drawings, specifications and project specific documentation; the Isle of Wight Council will undertake the tender process.
The Isle of Wight Council makes no guarantee about the volume of work designated under this agreement.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 100 000 GBP.
