McCullough Mulvin to design new National Learning College
McCullough Mulvin Architects have won the tender for an architect-led design team to design a new National Learning College at Park House in Stillorgan, Ireland. Six tenders were received for the €0.5m EUR contract. Park House is a day centre for people with physical and sensory disabilities, while the National Learning Network provides training programmes for people who need specialist support. As the location is protected, experience in conservation work was a requirement for successful bidders. Previous projects by Dublin-based McCullough Mulvin include the conversion of 13th century St. Mary’s Church at Kilkenny into the Medieval Mile Museum.
