27 Sept 2019: Award for €65m Estonian National Library renovation
The Estonian state real estate management company RKAS has awarded two firms with a contract to prepare the design for the renovation of the National Library, with an expected construction cost of €65m. Leading Estonian design firms Sirkel & Mall and AS RTG Projektbüroo will give the building a much-needed makeover so it can continue to efficiently preserve and protect Estonian national heritage. Once renovations are complete, the library will also host the Tallinn National Archives.
