3 Oct 2019: Urban-Agency to design white water course in Dublin
Urban-Agency Architects have won a tender released by Dublin City Council to design a white water course for kayaks and a possible public lido at George’s Dock, Custom House Quay. The planned facility is located close to the centre of the city's financial district, with the dock currently hosting events on an outdoor platform. The Council also intend to include a swift water rescue training channel for the emergency services. Urban-Agency have previously designed some noteable waterside schemes, including Danish projects the Faarborg Harbour Baths and Copenhagen's Kalvebod Waves.
