Jury choose successful projects from 275 submissions
The results of the 2026 World Landscape Awards (WLA) have been announced, with Tenderstream members celebrating success across four categories. The awards aim to celebrate the top achievements in global landscape architecture, acknowledging both built and conceptual projects. Many of these projects develop landscapes and spaces that tackle challenges faced by communities, cities, and the natural environment. The jury undertook a rigorous three-round judging process of the 275 entries submitted for the 2026 awards, which included jurors recusing themselves when a conflict of interest arose.
The successful projects by Tenderstream member firms are as follows:

The Brentford Project by Grant Associates
The jurors recognised this transformation of a former industrial waterfront in London into a vibrant, mixed-use neighbourhood centred around high-quality public realm and landscape. Grant Associates developed the overall masterplan for the site with fellow Tenderstream member AHHM, alongside Howells Architects and Maccreanor Lavington. The landscape will provide an ecological and artistic focus for Brentford and London, and an active and vibrant place to live, walk through, and use.

Peru Reconstruction Programme by The UK Delivery Team (Arup, Mace and Gleeds)
In response to the devastating El Niño Costero event that struck Northern Peru in 2016, Tenderstream member Arup formed the UK Delivery Team alongside Mace and Gleeds to support an initiative to rebuild schools and healthcare facilities, and provide flood defences for along the country’s coastal regions. With 4bn USD worth of contracts, the initiative demonstrates substantial progress. The integrated flood defence works alone aims to protect 16m people from future flooding events.

Oman Botanic Garden by Arup
Celebrating Oman's rich botanic diversity, the new garden covers 420 ha, making it the largest in the Arabian Peninsula. The chosen site in the Al Hajar Mountains foothills will be home to a visitor centre and education & research facilities, with the garden centred around two awe-inspiring biomes. The team, led by Arup alongside fellow Tenderstream member Grimshaw and Haley Sharpe Design, worked collaboratively to deliver a design to suit the ambitious brief.

Grand Hyatt Singapore by Grant Associates
Spanning 1.67 ha, the Hyatt's landscape redesign was constrained to the existing building slab as part of addition & alteration works. Guests experience the landscape via a single circulation route, entering through the lobby, encountering the redesigned waterfall as a focal point, and ascending to the garden via lift. Marking 50 years of Hyatt’s legacy, the renovation reinforces a sense of luxury and tranquillity amid the urban vibrancy.
